Default Best hospital for giving birth ..and ob/gyn referral...

Hi! Just found out I am pregnant! This would be my first delivery in the Katy area. Can anyone recommend a good hospital? St Christus or Katy Memorial Hermann? Or should I travel to sugar land or to Memorial.??? Please help!!!
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated....

Do you have health insurance? If you do, you may be limited to where you can go and who you can see. If you don't, my friends and my brother delivered at Sugar Land Methodist and they were very pleased. Not sure about the OB/Gyn doctor.

The absolute best OBGYN in Houston is Dr. Byron Holt. He is an absolutely fabulous dr. He has offices here in Katy now as well. He also has his main office on Frostwood. He has a very long standing & great history here. I assure you...you can't go wrong with this doctor!

You'll get lots of good suggestions here - take them as suggestions. Anyone who really likes their doctor a great deal will say he is the best in town .... so basically you'll get lots of excellent choices to choose from

First of all, CONGRATS! Texas Woman's in the med center. Should anything happen to yoru sweet little baby, they have one of the BEST NICUs in the city.
