This is scary and sad for those involved and for those living in the area. My husband and I just moved to a neighborhood a few miles NW of Kuykendahl/1960. I hope this isn't the beginning of more violent acts (shootings) around this area. Maybe there have been others, but I did not pay attention, since I previously lived closer into town. Yikes!

Why? Because the only folks the reporter could talk to were African American? That makes no sense at all.

there are a lot of bad apartments around kuykendahl and 1960 especially behind that gas station just south of 1960. Also where Ella and Kuykendahl meet are some bad apartment and also at Ella and Rankin Cranbrook Forest I think they have a reputation. You also see a lot of wierd people walking around that shopping center where Ripleys Muffler is.
