Question Michigan to Houston...Need some help!!

I posted something yesturday about my family relocating to the Houston area, but I seen that my sister had actually posted something a little while back. There was a lot of info. on her post regarding Clear Lake, and possible Deer Park. We were actually looking South of Houston in the beginning and then decided to go North. Anyone have any advice on what the would suggest. North or South???

I think before folks can answer your question "north or south?", they'll need more info including budget, likely areas of employment, whether you prefer MPC or not, etc...

ETA: just saw your sister's post. You might want to link to that thread here or go ahead & provide your criteria here on its own.

If you are working in Deer Park and want to go north, check out places like Summerwood, and Fall Creek.

For rent, we would like to stay between $1000/mo-$1500/mo. I am also going to need to find employment once we get settled also. I have been an Admin. Assistant for the past 10 yrs. I would like to be able to get a position within a medical facility. My work experience has been in a Hospital, Law Firm, and a Construction Company. My Husband's employer is located in Deer Park.

I would go north of Houston, but I just love northern Houston. I find it to be really nice, lots of beautiful neighborhoods, lots of shopping and restaurants, and decently priced rentals.
