Does anyone know of a place for a child to take golf lessons and horseback riding lessons around the Katy area?

Bluebonnet Farm in Bellville is an excellent place for riding lessons. They specialize in English Saddleseat and breed American Saddlebreds. Call them and ask for Sandy (don't mention me, she's my ex. LOL). Sandy is one of the best riding instructors in Texas.

You can find their website at www.bluebonnetfarm.com.

Just sayin'...

Ronnie

I know that Layne Ricks (PGA Director of Instruction and GM of Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club) runs a great summer academy for kids from ages 6-17. There are several sessions you can choose from. For more info, call (281) 693-4653. My 13 yr old son did it last summer and loved it.

As for horseback riding and lessons, I'd try the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in the Kelliwood/Cinco Ranch area. They are bound to have instructors or know where to find them. Tel: (281) 578 - 7669.

Good luck!
