The most upscale name is Sugar Land, Katy, The Woodlands to me.

When I think of the name, The Woodlands, I think of luxury and wealth.

The Woodlands makes me think of........a neighborhood in the woods.

Sugar Land......a city where sugar is produced or grows sugar cane.

Pearland.......I imagine Pear Trees.

River Oaks........Oak trees & rivers. (the "River" part is misleading, lol! )

Katy......sounds like a woman named Katy/Katherine was an important person in the area.

Clear Lake.......there must be a lake (but the water is unclear)

West University...........probably a university in the area

I don't get an upscale feel from any of these names.

Katy, to me, sounds like a small country town in the South.
