Default Marshall President Stephen Kopp Gives State of the University address in D.C.

Among the highlights of the last 5 years were:

-More than $190 million in new capital projects

-The founding of Marshall’s Honors College

-Construction or completion of 12 new facilities

-The doubling of research grant funding

-Significant increases in non-resident student enrollment and full-time freshman enrollment

-Ten new, high-demand degree majors

-The implementation of the new core general education program

-Marshall's annual economic impact has tripled since 2005

Pretty good stats if you ask me

Who's got a herd on???

I'm gottaherdon... ha ha

sorry, couldn't help it.

I'm wrapping up my last semester here at Marshall, and I've been looking through my pictures over the past 4 years and it has been truly an amazing experience. I'm going to miss being a member of the herd. It has really grown since I first arrived here as a Sophomore transfer student from Fairmont State.

Hopefully the growth will continue. With the new Physical Therapy and Pharmacy Degrees yet to start, the planned Engineering building to be built, the new River Place Development and others, I'd say the growth will definately continue if not at a faster pace. That will be good for Marshall, Huntington and WV.
