I haven’t really walked around Old Central City in a while. Is it decent there during business hours? I spend a lot of time in downtown but rarely venture into that area of Huntington.

If you like antiques, it’s a pretty neat area. You do have some other shops like the Wild Ramp, FAD Vintage, Central City Meat Market, Appalachian Restoration & Design and now Cicada Books. The niche shops seem to be expanding though and making it an even more unique area. If they were to get a brewery in the old Duncan Box Building, I think it’d really take off.
This will be a great addition to downtown. Hopefully it works well and has high speeds. It looks like the contract will be for 10 years so hopefully it’ll have some longevity.

A brewery would be great in that area of town. It would definitely help draw more people and expand on the craft brew scene. I love the Peddler and eat there at least once a week. If they could have some food options along with a brewery like you mentioned it would defiantly take off
The Inner Geek has acquired Empire Books and News. From their FB Page, it sounds as though they plan on keeping the book store mostly as is, expanding back to the full footprint of the space and adding comics, toys, etc there. This sounds like a great addition!
That sounds cool. Can’t wait to check it out when the transition is complete
