Another new place downtown called Pub and Oven. They started working on it at the same time as Backyard pizza. It will be interesting to see how the two do side by side.

Isn't there enough places in Huntington to get a sub, pizza, or hot dog already? I think Huntington needs something new and exciting downtown. I'm thinking along the lines of Dave and Busters. I think that would do well near Pullman Plaza.

I've never been impressed with Dave and Busters and I believe they are over rated. If another chain restaurant moves into downtown I would prefer something like Carrabba's or Bonefish Grill. However, it would be nice to have another homegrown restaurant or two.

They've added several local restaurants in the last couple of years and the growth has been nice to see. Downtown looks so different than it did even 5 or 10 years ago.

They are currently working on something in the old Club Babylon on 4th Ave. They have gutted the place but haven't announced what is going in there yet. Can't wait to see what it is.

Third and Ninth Deli closing but Chef Jason's du Soir Bistro taking over lunch. From things I've heard, it almost sounds as if the deli was pushed out in favor of the Bistro.

A local business owner has purchased the City Hall Annex as part of a larger downtown plan: "Radcliff, who did not attend Tuesday's meeting, said his plans for the property are part of a larger project he is working on in the downtown. He also is renovating a building on 4th Avenue, but declined to release further details." I assume that this is associated with the work being done on 4th Ave at the Old Renaissance Bookstore. It's a beautiful building and I'm eager to see what is being done there. The momentum at Pullman Square has certainful spilled over to 4th Ave.
