That would be an epic river trail, but a boring one unfortunately. I'd like to see a trail from Charleston to Huntington to Ashland to wherever.

Here's another bridge on the PATH that was just completed. The article attached talks about the Hal Greer Bridge being one the the upcoming focuses for construction. Hopefully, it will start by the fall.

It's good to see this project continues to move forward because it is much needed for our area and really helps boost the quality of living for Huntington.

With the planned redevelopment on Hal Greer Blvd, the new pedestrian bridge has the potential to make a great impression/landmark on visitors coming into Huntington.

It's almost as if they planned all this collaboratively.

Outside of the achievements of PATH, this article also solidifies that their next project will be transforming the abandoned rail-bridge over the Guyandotte River into a pedestrian bridge, connecting Guyandotte to Route 60 in the East End of Huntington.

PATH has made some good strides as of late. The extension to Harveytown is very nice. I keep waiting for the Hal Greer bridge though, especially as that is heavily traveled and I myself cross there frequently.

The design phase revealed more money and land acquisition needed for the bridge. Hopefully they can secure some grants and get this done.

It would be nice to see some local and regional businesses step up and donate money, labor and materials to get this completed.
