havoc,

You have to many posts in the Morgantown forum to reference just one.

Also, like tbailey stated, go back and read the article again. the head of the CVB wasn't the focus of the story, his quotes were used by the reporter to back up the reporters assertions.

By your line of reasoning, no article should be trusted because they had to interview knowledgeable people to draw a conclusion.
It might not have been written by him but it was quoting him. All the quotes are from the head of the visitors bureau. Could we get a netrual 3rd party?

We are talking about this article alone. It is mainly quotes from the head of the visitors bureau. It is the focus it is basically," according to the head of the visitors bureau..."

If there is a source other than the head of the visitors bureau please share it.

Here is a really nice and informative video about Huntington from HADCO (Huntington Area Development Council):

Huntington, West Virginia...Welcome Home. Presented by HADCO - YouTube

(If the link doesn't work then just search, "Huntington WV Welcome Home" on YouTube and play the video by HADCO)

Nice video! Huntington has needed a video like that for some time. Glad to see they finally did one.

I agree Tim, the video was nicely done. It really shows the positive changes Huntington has made economically and physically. 70 new miles of trails!!

Much better than the video Charleston recently produced. Sorry, but I don't care for how Charleston is trying to look hipster and quirky in that video.

I agree Charleston should not portray itself in a way it isnt, although Huntington did try to falsify a claim that the Greenbrier as being part of there area.

I think whoever made the video for Charleston tried to portray Charleston in a way that they wish it "were".

However this video for Huntington didn't exagerate anything that i noticed. I like how it stuck to a few key points and didn't try to make it look like it has a vibe that doesn't really exist.

I agree, except the Greenbrier part.

That is kinda misleading and should not have been included.

Good point, i forgot that was in there. Yeah, the Greenbrier was stretching it. Should have emphasized Beech Fork State Park, Grayson Lake and Carter Caves instead.
