Has anyone played golf at Sugarwood Golf Club. I am playing there later this summer and would like to find out more about the course. I live in Alabama and most courses are fairly flat. Does Sugarwood have a lot of elevation and side hill, uneven lies. Also, how is the course condition and greens?

Thanks!

I have played that course and for a West Virginia course it is relatively flat. It does have a few elevated tee box's, but not like you will find around much of the state. It is a pretty wide open course with fairly wide fairways and easy ball positioning. It is used by Marshall University golf teams at times. So it is at least up to NCAA standards, if that means anything.

It's a good course. Fairly wide open but a few tighter fairways.
