1 block closer to the The Market and i'd have to seriously consider grabbing up one of those apts for that price!

They do look nice, for sure. Hopefully the developer is successful in renting them and goes after more property as well. If he re-developed the half of the 600 block of 4th Ave that's currently for sale, it would probably add to the attractiveness of these apartments.

I like that they're expanding the skate park.



As for the one council member who voted against it, I guess they don't want to give kids a place to go and be active. They're still probably against kids listening to that Rock and or Roll music and hanging out at the local drive-in restaurant.

Yeah, it makes no sense to oppose something that's already well underway and is part of the larger riverfront redevelopment. I guess she'd rather have them skating on the sidewalks and using the decorative planters downtown to practice on like they did before they built the skate park.
