I am thinking moving to Huntington WV and need to know how much the electric base charge water rates and natural gas rates are, Also how much a 1000 sq ft home would take the natural gas space wall heat for winter months. the home I think has gas water heater and I know it has gas stove but I do not cook that much only one person.

Thanks and any information will help,
Jerry

Hey Jerry I'm moving there in September to buy a house, i cant walk well either so the steps should be easy. You can come to my D&D game I'll put out the Wyvern Flag of Wessex so you can find it

In my research I found that most info says about $150 for a 1000 sq foot home but not sure how that breaks down with gas or electric, then they also have a water fee of about $6 per 1000 gallons and a $20 a month trash and flood wall fee

One thing to follow is that AEP has requested a rate hike for WV customers. I think the request is around 8 or 9%. I believe there were some news stories yesterday or Tuesday regarding it.

Here is the most specific information I could find:

Natural Gas: https://naturalgaslocal.com/states/west-virginia/25712/

Electricity: https://www.electricitylocal.com/sta...ia/huntington/

Sewer: Huntington (WV) Sanitary Board

Water Rate Increase Info: West Virginia American Water seeks 24 percent rate increase

Utility Contact info if you wish to call directly: http://www.cityofhuntington.com/residents/utilities

I hope this helps some.
