I've decided to take up cycling in order to get some exercise, and I noticed that there is a "no bicycling" sign posted on the path around Ritter Park. Is this enforced? If so, are there any other paths in town?
If no one can help you out, take a look at Cabell-Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau, Huntington, West Virginia (http://www.wvvisit.org/index.html - broken link)
May want to call them about bike paths.
Biking is only prohibited on the main loop between 8th and 12th streets. The path that extends from 8th Street to 14th St West allows walkers/joggers and bikes. This path is also being extended to meet up with a path through Harveytown and many more paths are being made and connected through the new Paul Ambrose Trail for Health (PATH). If you like to bike, Jeff's Bike shop also does rides throughout the week. Hope this helps.
