For all the ones wondering about whatever happened to plans for Sweetwater( a life style center anchored by Bass Pro Shops)....its coming back to life! I hear with The Economy picking up, plans are still in the making for the shopping destination. Dont be surprised is u see some dirt moved on AL 20 in Decatur later this year or early next year. I Really hope this is true im tired of the same ole stores. This will be a big boost for Decatur developement along the interstate .Keep Your fingers crossed

Oh my gosh...I'm SO excited :0) I live for Bass Pro...love checking out all the rods, reels, hunting section, etc. *giggle*.

In all seriousness, this is a great boost for the area! Glad to hear they are still planning on starting the development.

Wow... a woman who loves fishing, hunting... AND... brings home her own income. Where does one go to find one like you?

ROTFL...uh, there may be just a "slight, itty bitty, tiny" misunderstanding here. Fishing and hunting: YUCK. LOL.

When I lived in Nashville I did take my daughter to Bass Pro quite often. They really do have some neat "stuff". The Bass Pro in Springfield, MO is amazing. I truly could spend a day or 2 in there. My kids loved going there when we lived in KC.

You can get adequate outdoor equipment at Academy and Wiley's Outdoors TODAY in Decatur.

Bass Pro is an extremely large recipient of corporate welfare.

/off rant. Just don't like that company.

How much in incentives did they get out of your community? They just nailed East Peoria, Illinois for a bundle. They get the building built for free and free rent.
