I drove by the Bridgestreet "lake" today and saw that the gondola is back in the water. I wonder if the paddleboats will also return?

I also noticed they've been "topping-off" the lake for the last two days - is that thing still leaking?

I sure hope they bring the paddleboats back. The gentleman that owns the Gondola is amazing...he (owner, business AND Gondola) have all survived 2 Hurricanes. His Gondola was crafted in Italy and has survived so much...sad to think that a leaking "pond" could have put him out of business He is a wonderful guy. Interesting stories to tell as well.

My take is they may wait to make sure the lake doesn't leak again. The paddle boats are stored in a storage place on Slaughter Road (The gondola used to be there too...) and last I drove by, they had not moved. My kids really enjoy the boats too. Get the motorized boats, you'll thank me as you WALK back out of Bridgestreet. =)

The paddleboats are now back at Bridgestreet - maybe they can keep the lake filled for the remainder of the summer.
