Hi guys

Does anyone know of a reputable company who does HDTV installations in Huntsville. I have a 46" LCD that needs to be mounted over a fireplace.
So any good place that will not break the bank but do a great job !
Thanks in advance.

Possibly call HH Gregg or Best Buy...I would think they would have a list of installers.

I've seen and heard of quite a few bad experiences with both HH Gregg and Best Buy.

These guys fixed my Samsung 50" plasma and stuck Samsung with the bill even when it was outside of the warranty.

These guys are also excellent but a little pricey.

Call Audio Insight. They are a really good company and quite fair.

My two cents: stay away from Audio Insight. Bad advice, bad judgement, and way overpriced.

Last posting may be a bit sketchy. This member joined July 2010 and has only posted once - could be someone with an interest in that company...

My two cents though - it is actually not too much hard work to diy. We just did so, took us half the day on and off. All you need is to decide what mount you buy. We bought this one on Amazon Marketplace (Mountplus) for our 50inch plasma:

Amazon.com: Unibrak UNB 550 Dual Arm Articulating Cantilever LCD Plasma LED LFD TV Wall Mount 37" 42" 50" 58" 65" Extends 33" Sony LG Panasonic Samsung Pioneer: Electronics

All we needed extra was some painters tape, a stud/electric/metal finder, a spirits level, drill and bits, pencil.

Being a large television it took 3 of us to get it up there, but the rest of the work was easy even though the instructions for the mount were poor. The mount is incredibly stable, the tv can be pulled 33inches out, tilted up/down, right/left.

Hope that is helpful

The question wasn't how hard it was to do DYI. It was who was a good company. Try answering the question asked and not making up your own. As a customer of Audio Insight since its inception, they are quite good. One only has to go through all the installs to see this. This is my opinion, take it for what it is.

Someone is incredibly smart My comment was not against Audio Insight, so get off your high horse.

My main point was to point out that the previous message might not necessarily be so helpful/trusted. I thought i would share how we had found it relatively easy to do for ourself, just in case the OP thought it was a lot harder than it is. I have often found useful things in this forum that weren't necessarily a direct answer of the question, so I stand by the usefulness of my answer.
