1892 East Restaurant and Tavern:

1892 East Restaurant & Tavern | Facebook

I heard it will feature a nice selection of craft beer, locally-influenced American cuisine, and non-smoking.

There is a sign up in the window now. Can't remember what it says. No all we need is a good breakfast place to go in next door. Something like the broken egg in jones valley, but one that I could walk to

P.S.
In the paper it said there is a new steak restaurant going in downtown along with a micro-brewery!

The new steak place is going to be in the old Bistro du Soleil location and will be run by James Boyce, the chef from Cotton Row.

The brewery will actually be a brewpub, as in it will be restaurant that brews its own beer as well. It's supposed to go in at the Kress Building across from Sammy T's. I'm hearing this place is set for February or March of next year.

Oh yeah! I was hoping it would be a brewpub and not just a microbrewery. I'll be there on opening day! Now I just need them to brew an imperial red and I'll be set !!!
