Hi all

When I was younger (<10 or so), I went a martial arts academy on Drake, Master Lee's Martial Arts College, for a few years, and really loved my time there. I quit after awhile, and it has been several years but I have noticed that it is no longer there. Does anyone know what happened to it? Input from anyone, especially people who may have been there, would be much appreciated. Googling turns up little.

I have been a personal aquaintance of Mr. Lee for a couple of years now. He recently moved to ATL and focuses on his eastern medicine practice now.

Thank you very, very much! Can you possibly offer any insight on why he stopped teaching martial arts or anything? I am not trying to be nosy, just curious as someone who values the time I had learning from him.

He was getting older and it took a lot out of him. There were some other issues but they're personal so I won't post them here. He is doing well from what I gather and still practices quite a bit on his own to keep up his skills but has moved on from teaching for the time being. He still comes to town every now and again. I'll tell him that one of his former students says hello and that he apparently made a lasting impression the next time I talk to him. I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

My son also went to Master Lee's when he was younger. It was certainly a thriving place then, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were there for several years.
