Here is the list of recycling the City of Huntsville will pick up (
The Solid Waste Disposal Authority Recycling Program ), but for other items such as glass, where do you drop them of at?

City glass recycling to be held this Friday | The Madison Record
I've been putting glass in my recycle bin and didn't realize I couldn't put it in there. They still take it however, so it's going somewhere.

In the Hampton Cove area, we take our glass to Artisan's Cove for recycling. Very convenient!

Huntsville City? Recycling has a drop off location for at 1004 A Cleaner Way, HSV 35805 which takes glass, cardboard, plastic...etc...

Best Buy accepts old electronics for recycling for free. If it's a monitor or TV, they charge you $10, but they put that $10 on a gift card.

Has anyone else noticed the old man and lady who are always staked out at the recycling center on A Cleaner Way? As soon as you throw cans in the bin, the pull them out and put them in their car. I wish Huntsville had better recycling bins like the huge ones around Nashville where stuff can not be easily removed.

You can just take aluminum and other metals to Denbos in Decatur and keep the money yourself. They're actually called Tennessee Valley Recycling, but everyone knows it as Denbos.
