Does anyone have a recommendation for private swimming lessons in Huntsville? I have a 4 and 7 year old. If not, maybe a good group lesson to put them in.

Have you asked the school for any suggestions? Also, here in Madison they have the YMCA.

We've done the group lessons as the UAH fitness center (universityfitnesscenter.com) and I know that some of the instructors there do private lessons as well. We've been VERY happy with the instructors there, and have been taking lessons on and off for the past 7+ years.

If Madison is far for you, I've done Huntsville Aquatics Center and the Weatherly YMCA as well. They are both good, although uncomfortable for parents (sitting in the humid heat for every lesson, daily.)

Kerry Martin teaches in her backyard pool. She is a kindergarten teacher and teaches small group lessons (perfect private as well, not sure) in the summers. She has been doing it a long time and is great with the kids. I'll send you more info.
