I've been looking online for a zoning map of Madison City Schools and can't find one anywhere. Does anyone have any input?

I know the zoning for Bob Jones will change with Clemens being built. Are there any local grumblings as to what the new area for Bob Jones will be?

it looks like the zone lines was omitted from the new website. The closest I got was when I entered "zone lines" in the blue search box in the upper right hand corner. Unfortunately you have to be an "admin" to see the results. Very strange. I can't imagine why they wouldn't want us to see the current zone lines?

Default can't open the file

friday13,

I can't open your file. Is your file corrupted somehow? Or is it available on some other website?

Thanks,
Andy

Friday13....I got it open but it's the old one from '09. I haven't seen the new one yet. My guess is it isn't completed yet?

To my knowledge, the 2009 map still applies.
I never intended to pass this along as the NEW rezoning map.
I figured that one will come out closer to Clemens' opening (school year 2012-2013).

Default opened it...

I was able to open it at home (not at work) for some reason. Thanks friday13 for putting it up.

New rezoning map will not be released until spring 2012 from what I was told yesterday.

Also, expect not only high school zoning, but middle school rezoning as well....namely, pulling areas out of Liberty and into Discovery.

New high school will offer curriculum virtually identical to Bob Jones, aside from culinary. I was told those who wanted to do culinary could option to take that course at Bob Jones.
First year will obviously only be JV sports, which will eventually evolve into varsity as the kids move up.

I think the latest is to start it with grades 9,10 and 11 so the population numbers are more evenly balanced and move the zoning line west to Balch. Liberty would feed in to James Clemens and Discovery would feed in to Bob Jones. Has a principal being hired yet?
