Hello All.

I'm sorry if this has been posted ad nauseum, I've been lurking this board for some time, and occasionally see a few posts that fit my situation, but nothing quite like my issue.

I'm in my late 20s, and single, moving to the Madison/Huntsville area. I don't mind so much about commuting time as I do mind what my general area is like.

I want to be able to meet singles my age readily. From what I've seen on these boards, this isn't terribly easy in the area, but I want to keep my chances as high as possible. I recognize it's going to take a great deal of effort, but that's really true of anyone my age in the South.

I also don't want something that's terribly undergraduate heavy or noisy. Do y'all have any recommendations of areas to look at?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Drommie! I am also in my 20's and have come across this same issue. The thing that I have found is HYP "Huntsville Young Professionals" they also have a facebook page. Also If church interest's you there are alot of singles groups. I know The Rock and Willowbrook have very big groups. Also Building Church they meet at the Monaco they have alot of people in there 20's - 30's. Hope this helps

I would focus your search on 5 Points and the Medical District. Close to everything, young people around, nice neighborhoods...

Ditto to 5 Points and the Medical District. The Research Park area will have you close to Bridgestreet and Village of Providence.
