Hi there!

My husband and I just moved to Huntsville in June and are excited to spend our first Christmas here.

We'd like to drive around and look at people's Christmas lights on Christmas Eve. Are there any great neighborhoods known for their light displays?

Thank you!

Try to fit these in this year if you can.

Decatur's historic districts have some very nice, traditional displays - lots of greenery, fruit etc. Both neighborhoods are bordered by US 31 (AKA Sixth Avenue). Old Decatur is on the west side, shortly after crossing the bridge, and Albany Historic District is a little farther down 31, (look for Grant, Jackson, Sherman streets crossing 31), on both sides of the highway.

Carter family has lights sync'd to music. We always park and watch for about 20 minutes. It's off Drake Ave.
