Default Missed opportunity....

If someone want's to make a bundle they should put a gas station on the south side of 72 somewhere between Athens and Winn Dr. Currently there are none. I would much rather not have to cross traffic...

Hmmm, do you think it has something to do with some weird zoning restriction?

I've always thought a gas station in Madison on the South side of 72 with a drive through for coffee, biscuits & drinks would make a killing. Gotta have money to make money I suppose.

I thought I remember reading that it has something to do with the flow of traffic and tendencies of people buying gas. Since most people buy gas after work and not before it, they have gas stations on the north side of 72, people leaving Hsv at the end of the day (going towards Madison and Athens).

Corner of Winn has a Conoco right? I think they charge about .10 more per gallon.

Is it the City-vs-City, i.e., Madison-vs-Huntsville, thing?

I see your gas station on the southside of 72 and raise it with a Chic-Fil-a on the North Memorial Parkway or Chapman Mountain (Shields Road/72)

Am I the only one around here who craves for some healthy food such as Rubio's Baja Grill ? (closer to healthy ... at least).
