It's a long drive, but if you are ever in the downtown area of Florence, I recommend Riccatoni's. They have great pizza in a wood fired oven. Eveything there is really good. I have eaten in downtown Florence Italy, and I would rather eat in downtown Florence Alabama.

I'll second Venice. I LOVE their sliced Italian sausage much more than the typical crumbles you get most places.

I had the "pleasure" of trying Imo's once. I'm sure its an acquired taste, as I was not impressed. Donato's is probably as close to Imo's as you will get out of St. Louis, and I am personally glad that is the case.

Hey if any of you go to Venice, tell the guys that they need to open up a place in Limestone county, I have been recommending something near exit 351 on 72.

I would definitely like to see an Imo's - I love the thin crust and the Provel cheese.

If you ever get to Nashville - Bella Napoli has excellent Neopolitan pizza. Very impressed.

Had the pleasure of being invited to Pie in the Sky's soft opening/friends and family event tonight (new Target center in Madison). I am impressed! They put a lot of focus on fresh ingredients and it shows. And with 38 taps of craft beer these guys have more than enough flavors available for beer lovers. Really impressed and looking forward to their official grand opening next week.
