Not pizza...but still Italian for all of you who are familiar with Nashville....

Several years ago we were in Franklin for a tourney, and one of the families invited my kiddo to go out to eat....it was an Italian restaurant that she was raving about, they serve everything family style. I cannot for the life of me remember the name, and every time I am in Nashville I think about that and to be honest its driving me nuts. Anyone have any idea?

Buca di Beppo by Cool Springs Mall? There is also Maggiano's on West End in Nashville which is similar.

It might have been Buca di Beppo.....it wasn't Maggiano's, I have been to several of those and I would have remembered that.

There is one other place that I know of that serves family-style Italian food called Mangia Nashville off of Hillsboro Rd. It is a smaller place and basically like a giant family party at dinner time.

I've never had a server ask me to add Basil ever at Bella Napoli, and I've probably eaten there 20+ times since last April.

It was at the Cool Springs location, so maybe something that particular waitress was pushing there. However, they are closed now...

Saw that. I had heard from others that Cool Springs was run a little differently, but that's a lot differently. I assume ownership figured he couldn't find enough good people and closed. Sad, as that location is a bit closer and easier to park than the Villa Place location.

Went to Carlton's Italian in Cullman because someone recommended them to me as a great pizza place.

Pizza Hut crust. Salty sauce, meh cheese.

I wish I remembered who said to go, they owe me $20.00+
