Recommendations for Auto Paint Work
Good afternoon!
A friend of mine bought a spoiler for his Lancer.
How much would it cost to have it painted to match the car. The car is one year old.
Do you have any shop recommendations?
Thanks!

Do either of you have access to the Arsenal? If so, the DIY auto shop has a paint booth and gun.
I have only dealt with one shop in town b/c $5K in damage caused by road debris but I would not reccomend going to them.

We both have access. Thanks for the information. I will look into the MWR.

I had my car repainted at Maaco and was very happy with the job they did.

I'm glad the previous poster got satisfaction at Maaco, but some would say they are hit-or-miss, and how long it will last is questionable. But the price will be good.
I had my hood painted recently at Monrovia Body Shop. They may not be the cheapest, but they are extremely good at what they do. I asked them why they don't have a webpage, and the manager said it's because they don't need one. They get all the work they need by reputation.

I got referred to Bill Penney Toyota for some rear bumper painting - after I got rear ended.
I saw the price billed to the insurance... I thought it was reasonable.

However ---- If I was the one paying --- and depending on the car's paint condition --- I would consider Maaco (they are fast) or Monrovia Body Shop (they are very busy but real good).
