No kidding, huh?! I've been having trouble getting some decent ammo for one of my handguns and I spoke with someone at Blazer recently and they said they are producing over 1,500,000 rounds of center fire a day and having trouble keeping up with the demand.

This is what I was referring to in the other thread. Supposed to be announced on Monday (I think) and will be around 2,000 jobs when it's all said and done. Something like an $87 million impact to Alabama's economy.

Oh, and just to clarify, I had no inside source or anything. I just remember reading/seeing/hearing the rumors.

I'm on my phone or I would link the article. Yellowhammer news and someone from HSV city said 2,000. Of course, they could be reporting wrong, but I really hope it is the 2,000 number.

They employ around 1300 in NY, and they will be seriously scaling back that number there.
