#21 No one knows who Bob Wallace is.

(though I seem to remember reading he was a local or state transportation department official)

Hah, I like those.

Definitely agree with the streets randomly changing names. I have never seen anything like that. I have seen streets change names when it goes from city limits to county, but never within city limits.

And I have to disagree with the mountain thing. Even some locals seem to agree that it should be called Monte Sano Hill.

When I first moved here a guard at one of the gates told me my glasses made me look like Gus Malzahn. I then responded with a "who?" and a shrug of the shoulders. For a second I didn't think he was going to let me through. Don't worry though, I am now quite familiar with him.

LOL Actually that would be Georgia Tech (where I started my college degree). Even UA Tuscaloosa (where I finished said college degree) would have that honor (it really couldn't, in all honesty) , before UA Huntsville could say such a thing.

UAH does have a magnificent computer science program. But hardly the MIT of the south.

Related: we will always call it by its former recognized name UAH. rather than the renamed UA of Huntsville.
