I'm pretty sure the construction won't continue the entire time you live there.

Looks like a (NJ) Bridge-gate situation.

The work must not be done by Madison City because there are FAR WORSE roads in city proper (think Wall-Triana from Hwy20 to the RR). Who owns that stretch of Slaughter? County, Hsv? Friend or foe?

I ended up bypassing the turn on governers west and went to research park blvd. I was going to Charley Pittman's office on gov west and made it there in less than 4 minutes. Something to keep in mind if it backs up to slaughter again.

The new county line exit will help in a big way.

I am not sure how that will help, Jimmy? The county line exit is 4 miles from governors west. I believe you are thinking of Wall Trianna because it will be a HUGE benefit there.

Hopefully, the County Line exit will take some traffic that goes into CRP off Gillespie-Eastview, Browns-Ferry-Old Madison Pike, Mill-Portal, Madison Blvd.

Unless one is dropping off kids at school, why would they subject themselves to a horrendous traffic cutting through Madison City, when they can hop on 565 and drive all the way to CRP? Longer distance, yes, slightly less time than through Madison, maybe, but not the stop-and-go traffic within the city.

I, for one, am hopeful the exit will work out.
