This was discussed previously and the opinions were split, but our traffic has increased since then. This poll will be open for 48 hours. There are more threads about Huntsville than Montgomery, Birmingham, or Mobile so this is the first choice.

The traffic for Huntsville will certainly not decrease in the coming years either. (there is a really really weak double meaning in there somewhere =D)

I'd say no....not yet. I still like seeing ALL the Alabama stuff together, even though I can rarely say much about Mobile and L.A. And I don't think our traffic is THAT heavy right now.

Southlander is right. When you start thinking about the outlying areas, it might create confusion, especially for people thinking of relocating. Can I change my vote?

I don't think isolating Huntsville/Madison won't work well ergonomically. So many folks are moving here and many are looking for rural home locations that have up to maybe a 45 minute commute. I think it would be more logical to break us out into a North Alabama forum; from the perspective of a Realtor, our MLS covers a geographic area from Hollywood to the Shoals, from Red Bay to Lake Weiss and Gadsden, and even north into South Central TN. I respond to questions about a large part of that area as do many others, whether Realtors or not. I think all these inquiries need to stay together.

I couldn't care less about seeing inquiries about Birmingham and points south.
