Forget the Pizza
Just face it. The pizza in Huntsville is horrible. Donatos, Bellachinos and Big Eds are barely better than the chains. The Mexican is very disappointing as well.
The best bet is to embrace the local specialities like barbeque topped potatoes (Lawlers or Gibsons) or fried catfish and soul food ....

I heard Tony's Little Italy in Providence is pretty good. I haven't tried it yet but I need to. I love Italian food and I believe Huntsville needs to bring in some Italian authenticity here. It would add on to the cultural diversities that is already here. Then again, it would take half of the city's population to support a local Italian business for it to stay. Huntsville has a lot more trouble supporting locally owned businesses than restaurant chains IMO. Don't get me wrong there are some locally owned places that have survived in Huntsville over the past three years, but it seems every time you read in the newspaper that a local restauratuer is opening up his or her own business in town it closes after a couple of months after its debut opening. How sad.

That's a yes for Tortora's! I will never order any chain pizza again. Their bbq chicken is to die for!

"...and if you can't be, with the one you love, honey, love the one your with!" I don't think there is a match in this world for Quatro's Pizza in Carbondale, IL. That being said, I don't expect to have Quatro's here in Huntsville. I think that Sam and Greg's is good. I like Big Ed's. Ricatoni's in Florence has a great pizza. Still miss the Terry's location on the North Parkway. It's like a mentor once said to me, "Enjoy every pizza!"

A buddy of mine had another Marco Pizza and said "they have got their act together, much improved".
Still haven't tried it.
Any progress on the Mellow Mushroom in Providence?

I, also, endorse Tortora's pizza.
YUM.
I also had occasion to have a calzone at Little Tony's on Whitesburg and thought it was quite good, but I haven't tried the pizza.

My family and I had Marco's this weekend and it was Excellent! I can tell you that I haven't had pizza that good anywhere in Huntsville / Madison. I am definitely a fan and we won't be getting pizza anywhere else from now on.
Great job Marco's!
