Snappy Tomato
Snappy Tomato is the new pizza place at Jeff road and Hwy. 53 next to Publix. We stopped by Tuesday and stuck our head in to ask when they would open. They said Thursday. They gave a slice to try and it was good. I got a menue. Go to www.snappytomato.com . I may pick one up on the way home next week or sneek up ther for lunch. I work near 53 and Research park so drive won't be bad.

I have not been by there lately, but last time I was it seemed like they quit working.

We occasionally buy a pie or two from Star Market - they have fresh Terry's there...and while it may be the best pizza I've had so far in Huntsville, they get the order worng e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e. we order - and we're right there waiting, this isn't a phone-in.
One time, green olives were instead green peppers...the next time green olives were black...and another time the pizza was burnt. :I
I really like the staff there, but man...

Kinda like Olive Garden soup and bread sticks - "quantity is a form of quality..."

I don't know if I've posted in this topic. I thought I did, but I'll post again. The best place in Huntsville to get a tasty pizza is at Sam and Greg's in downtown Huntsville. It's over on North Side Square across from the county courthouse. Delicious pizza. Good crust and chunky toppings.

Just went there tonight with wifeo I love the ambience of the place !!! It was very nice to go to a nice decor place with a 'cafe' feel and not another fast-food joint.
The pizza was excellent as well. We had the 'guido' (feta cheese, sausage, tomato, and long running stringie mazerella cheese all on a wheat pizza). Met the owners. Did you know that Sam is a woman?

It is good. Tried it once. I put it in my top 3 or 4 list for the area. Maybe #1 if it were close enough to me to try a couple times.
