Default Mellow Mushroom

I ate at MM in Franklin yesterday. No line, got waited on right away. Pizza was good.

Now I have to make my rounds and rate my top three...MM, Tony's or Toratora's.

It is realy Terry's but since they are not a sit in I am leaving them out.

Shoot, I didn't even know where Tony's WAS--until just a few minutes after we left MM...
I expect Tony's will be next, I'm more likely to be in the Providence area than the square or Hampton Cove.

Is the Terry's at Star Market the same Terry's that used to have the sit-down places in town?
If so, I'm going to have to try one, just to see what the good comments are all about. Over the years, oh, about once every 5 years or so (just long enough to forget my previous experience) I'd eat at Terry's, usually the one on North Parkway.

It was never good--not once. The place was a dive--dirty--pizza not good.

But, I've heard from more than one person that the pizza at Star market at 5 points is the best stuff.

Yes the same pizza...Yes the restaurant was dirty. But I loved their pizza. It got to where it was not consistant though. Tony's is like that. Not always consistant.

Maggie888 is on a distinguished road
Go try out the new pizza place in town. Pane e vino. It is located at Big Springs Park on the bottom floor of the Art Museum. The entrance is on the outside right off the pond. Seriously some of the best pizza ever. Great salads and cal zones too! They are owned by the same people who own Cotton Row so it is a nice place. Best Pizza I have ever had...for real!

Had Tortora's the other day. OK IMO. It was good but not great, especially considering the price.

My favorites are still Sam and Greg's and Tony's (when they are on the ball). The only problem with Tony's is sometimes it blows you away, sometimes it is so-so.

Pano e Vino is quite good. MM is pretty good. That place in Hampton Cove behind the Publix is pretty good (can't remember the name). But Terry's is still my favorite in this town. Kudos to Star Market for picking up the TP product. They had great sandwiches too, but I guess we'll never see them again.

Ate at Village Pizza in downtown Athens on the square. Wow! Awesome.
