As it turns out, her knee was feeling much better so there was no need for the taxi. AND, I never saw one that day so, perhaps they are only there on the wkends.

Only reason Dirt, would be because it wasn't possible to walk. The only other time I could foresee it is when my mom feels bigger than her spinal injuries and thinks she can walk it all. She starts out well and then by the time we are at the farthest point from the car she is in extreme pain and we have to practically carry her while one of us goes and gets the car to the point nearest us. Yet, the next time, she will think she is capable again.
