OK so it looks like they are finally adding the 3rd lane to Chapman mtn Westbound. Does that mean the proposed overpasses over Moores Mill and Shileds are nixed?

no just means aldot refuses to build them now even though they we're approved nearly 15 years ago.
This is part of the roads program the mayor innitiated last year because aldont was screwing the city/county more than usual. aldot is the biggest obstacle to this regions growth, if it's north of Prattville or south of Hope Hull you will be lucky to get projects done on time or at all.

No clue but it still doesn't solve the standstill traffic in the afternoons heading eastbound. I guess they don't realize that everyone that comes IN to HSV in the morning heads OUT of HSV in the afternoon.
