Default College of Ed

My wife has her BBA and is going back to school to get an elementry ed. teaching certificate. It looks like three Universities in the area have education programs. UAH, Athens State, and Oakwood. Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with any of these colleges and/or programs. Thanks.

And don't forget Alabama A & M.
Athens State is a 2-year upper-level college. It works with Calhoun and other junior colleges, supplying the upper level courses and granting bachelor's and a few master's degrees.
Alabama A & M and UAH are full four-year colleges. I know a lot of teachers who've gotten their master's degrees from A & M.
Oakwood is a private college and is, I've heard, a LOT more expensive that the state-affiliated schools.
University of North Alabama, in Florence, is another 4-year college that would be a possibility.
Perhaps someone else here can provide info as to quality.
Wonderful that she's doing that!
