Just kidding but not really. We "as a family of 4" went to Ruby Tuesday's a long while back and all of us got salad bar / drinks and the bill came to almost $50 and after tip (what was I tipping for?) was over $50... never again.
That's about right. Most places now, you'll pay around $6 for a salad bar - that's unlimited access, not just a side salad. Drinks will run around $2 to $2.50 each. 9% tax, plus tip...and you're there.

Eating out is not cheap!

Agree with this. Call me crazy but I would rather pony up a few extra bucks and get the good stuff at Brazil.

hey, first post on this forum. New to HSV with my GF. been here about a year.

I have gone to the brazil steakhouse for my bday. It was spendy, but the amount of food (and high quality) makes up for it. The meat was AMAZING. the salad bar is AMAZING. If i was rich, or for special occasions ill def go back.

I have signed up for their email stuff and I do get some coupons.

I have also been to the Rodizio place in Nashville. I will say each one had its pluses and minuses. I would give the nod to Rodizio in Nashville though because the interior is way nicer, parking is easier at Brazil though.

Brazilian in HSV was really cramped. In order for me to go to the salad bar I was constantly asking 2 people next to me to move. If im paying $60 a dinner, I wouldnt want some person bothering me to move.

I expect them to renovate the space after the shakedown period. It can and needs to expand if the popularity remains at this pace. Each of their restaurants are unique in the design of the space.

I just don't think I eat enough to justify the price.
I don't even make multiple trips at a buffet, except for soup/salad, then meal, followed by dessert.

The food is exceptional, you would feel more than justified afterwards

I'm sure it is - I wouldn't argue about the quality.

Last time we went, I only had the salad bar and while the meat is wonderful, I really didn't miss it at all.

That salad bar is amazing!
