Oh look another new account posting their first post in this thread to complain (in an over the top fashion IMO) about the owner of the house. I have no idea what the real situation is behind the scenes but at this point I'm really starting to feel for the owner of the house. These attempts to paint her as some crazed lunatic are getting a little out of control.
bud if you had seen and heard the way that she acts tword good people being polite to her you would realize that she is a nut
You don't have to be taking pictures. You just have to drive by slowly. I saw her Sunday afternoon harassing people, video taping them (which I think she can't do without a person's permission) and the people in the car told me she started throwing rocks at their car. No sooner had I told them to call the police, one pulled up behind me. 30 minutes later, they are still there. I'd like to know what the cops say about this. I have spoken to a couple that patrols this area and they all know how she is and says she knows the law and does just enough to keep herself from getting in trouble. I find her extremely annoying!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a criminal offense in Alabama to take pics of a house w/o permission, invasion of privacy. I would assume that holds true for your person as well. I live down the street and look foreword to watching the show.
The other night (halloween night actually) me and a few friends decided to drive by and see if anything would happen. The first time we drove by, we didnt stop or anything. We just simply drove by....the immediately shown a spot light on us from the top window and followed us with it down the street. Do they do this to every one who drives by? So then we decide to drive back by and see if anything would happen. We stop at the stop sign (public domain, as that guy said) and wait for a few minutes. nothing happened. So we continue to drive by. As soon as we approached the sidewalk that leads up to the house, a woman pops out with a water hose and is spraying our car! she was on a cell phone. We decided to drive by one more time because it was so hilarious. When we approached to sidewalk for the third time, we stopped the car and she ran out with the waterhose again. While she was spraying our car( only feet way from our car) my friend screamed "you cant get mee!!!" and turned her windshield wipers on high. We finally decided to leave her alone. We are so interested in this house! Maybe they wouldnt have so many people driving by if she didnt make it so fun.
I hope that many of those in the neighborhood find this fun without her damaging their cars. But act fast I think she is building a wall, or either a moat around the front.
catapult anyone?
Ok we were visiting some friends in Imperial Gardens and got a couple kites out flying with the kids there on the green. Well I was having a great time. I mean when is the last time any of you guys (over Thirty) flew a kite. Great therapy definitely recommend it, anyway. About four hundred feet up with maybe six of string out...it snapped. Amazingly I followed it with the car but lost it, I drove around the projects on Washington figureing it was headed that general direction. Well no luck, someone got a real nice kite (with not so good string). I went back and we all said our g'byes and headed back home, the neighborhood around "The Castle" being home. Lo and Behold there is my kite still a flying high right over the @#%$#'s back yard. Well the home's yard where the string was caught (well above arms reach, or climbing mind you) had no answer. So I figured I would get a pen and leave a note with my phone#.Then bring an extension ladder when the wind drops it and go back to happily flying my kite. As I start back to the car parked @ moodys I hear some one hit their brakes and slide to a stop in the gravel drive. As I rounded the corner It was a blue SUV, with a fairly attractive older woman (probably why I didn't immediately recognize the ugly b&^%#. Me and my dad walk up and as she rolls the window down she asked "Is that your kite stuck up there?" "Yes mam We were all the way..." she cuts me off "Well what do you think that you are going to do about it I'm not going to sit look at that damn thing all summer you need to get it down from there now" Now I realized who she was. I said "Oh you're the woman who was talked so rude to me and my girlfriend the other day aren't you? I sure am, and I'm going to keep telling white trash like you where they need to be" I couldn't believe it. This woman knew absolutely nothing about me, and besides the now two times that she had seen me I was dressed a hell of a lot nicer then she was button down once polo a second. anyway. I was already walking away from the truck when I heard that I turned and took a few steps back twords the truck and she started fumbling around and grabbed her gun. I laughed. So What, you are going to shoot an unarmed man for getting a kite stuck in a tree. That'll look real nice in the society column.HAHA
All kidding aside this woman is dangerous so play all the pranks you can I highly encourage it (maybe she'll move) but be careful Because she is truly a mainiac and now we know for certain that she has a pistol. And most importantly we really know who the real 'White Trash' is.
Once again I ask, what did the police say about this situation. The woman pulled a gun on you, surely you filed a police report! This one action would get documentation on the books of her manic behavior.
I have also driven slowly by this home - on a PUBLIC street, I might add - only to have some nutjob videotape me. I'm sorry, but you've got to expect some gawkers if you live in such an interesting and historical home. That said, I would NEVER trespass. Driving by on the street is NOT trespassing. They have no right to harass people in the public street next to their house. And, BTW, photographing or videotaping their home from a PUBLIC street is not illegal as long as you aren't selling/making money from it. I worked in TV news for over 10 years and I can tell you that's a fact. Just like Casey Anthony's parents couldn't stop the media from setting up camp across the street from their home. The people in the Kildare House are going to get sued someday when they go too far. Plain and simple.
We drove by today. We never got out of the car, never took the car off of the public street. We made no attempts to take pictures, we were merely admiring it. A lady, I am assuming the owner, came out & used a large mirror to blind us with sunlight. I get protecting your property but again, we were not taking pictures & never left the vehicle which was on the public street. She could've caused us to wreck by blinding us. She's psycho!
I was going to the theater and missed the street. I drove down a what seemed to be bad area to see this beautiful house. I drove back around to get a better look at the stop sign. I rolled down my window and reached for my phone to take pictures not even a second and a lady started saying something. I have trouble hearing so just waved and smiled at her. I am in a nice car and a female that is no threat. She got closer and I could hear her saying it was private property. I said I was admiring her house and she said I couldn't take pictures and it was creepy. She asked what I was going to do with the pics. I said I was very sorry and drove off. As I drove away she kept saying it was creepy. I could see her lips shake when she spoke. After reading these posts I am sure she deals with this everyday. Maybe she is scared of the area, maybe she needs help or maybe someone has tried to break into the house. She should put up a sign that says no stopping or pictures. I would have laughed and continued on my way not stopping. I do feel very sorry for her now. I wonder why she doesn't move if she wants privacy or put up a fence. The yard was in great condition and the house just brings attention to it.
Well someone was able to take pictures of the place...
There are some really cool pictures on here, inside and out. If you haven't already, you should join the group Huntsville revisited on Facebook. They've got some cool stuff on there.
In the pics, that house looks like it needs some care inside. That thing would take a fortune to care for, heat/cool, and properly furnish. Gorgeous, interesting house, but a beast.

I don't see how invasion of privacy occurs when you are openly (rather than secretly) photographing a house (rather than a person) from a public street (rather than private property)
