I have anticipated this correction for several years. It is overdue and certainly no big deal. The worst thing people can do is panic and sell at a low. Whenever I have done this in the past I have always paid dearly. When I have patiently hung on, I have nearly always done well. Fear and greed are the two devastating emotions in the market.

This drop isn't similar to the 2008 crash where the housing market was severely inflated and the FED was raising rates with the notion that the economy was improving (while only considering the housing data in this assumption) even though most business's were not stable. I believe stock prices are at market value and investors are taking there profits at any sign of weakness in the global economy. I say by the middle of the week we hit the low of this correction and that would be a safe time to invest in some blue chip company's with low P/E values.

Yes, it will certainly be a great opportunity for those who are sharp and don't get panicked.
