Went last night for the first time & must say I was impressed, especially with the service. We had reservations but had to wait a few minutes for a table, so they comped dessert for us. Wait staff was very attentive but not intrusive. And the food was very good! Definitely a step up from most Italian restaurants in the area. Will definitely go back.

That is good to hear! We went back when it first opened, had to wait over an hour for our food after we ordered, and the manager was snarky and not very apologetic and seemed shocked everyone was upset that it took over an hour to get their order. And it wasn't even that crowded.

I did think when we finally got our food it was good, but I still like their sister restaurant Brio's much better.

We were going to let them work out all the kinks from first opening and then try it again.

Yup, still haven't been, waiting for the opening jitters to settle down.

Had a great coupon that I let expire. I'd rather wait and go for an early lunch and really get a feel for the place than rush out on a friday night and be bitter when it takes forever and isn't perfect.

:l

We tried it a few times, and I'm not chomping at the bit to go back, like LCT I prefer Brio - our first visit was the best and then it went downhill

Hmm. Well I hope our good experience was not a fluke! Like I said, we had a reservation & had to wait a few minutes beyond our res time, and everyone was extremely apologetic about our wait. Food came out quickly & was excellent. And it was a packed Friday night to boot. Maybe they've worked out the kinks.

My wife and I went there about mid-august and we were not impressed at all.....doubt we will be going back. Went on a Saturday night with reservations, we were seated right away, wasn't real busy. Then the waitress comes up and I had to do a double take, she had those ring things in her ear lobes. I guess it's just a personal thing but I can't stand being waited on by someone with a multitude of facial piercings/tattoos or giant holes in their ears. So we ordered and then the waitress brought us three small pieces of bread and dipping oil which was pretty darn good....but the waitress never offered to bring us more bread. Our food came fairly quick. My wife ordered the chicken Milanese and thought it was good, I ordered the pasta Bravo and while I thought it was good, there was maybe 4-5 slivers of chicken and about a pound of pasta. And $5 to add a salad? Overall the food was mediocre and overpriced, service was just OK. I think we'll go to Olive Garden next time!!!!

They are called gauges and yeah, I don't like them either.

One time I had a waitress with yellow fingernails, like on purpose, thought I was going to throw up.

I'm exaggerating of course, but still, we all have a our pet peeves about food service...

Hahaha. Very good point. The very eclectic employees there.

I have friends who do and have worked there, maybe I have an old 1950's White Castle Patron mentality, but I don't like the look of a waiter who dresses like that.

I worked at the Huntsville Country Club when I was younger, none of that garbage was tolerated and while it works for them, it shouldn't be acceptable at a fine dining establishment.
