Just a heads up... The new Bandito Burrito in Madison is open and it's pretty yummy. For those that don't know, it's on the corner of Slaughter/72 where the old Jeffersons was. No Beer/Liquor license yet (they said a few weeks).

Honestly, Jefferson's was the worst when it came to wings. I honestly really like the wings over at that Sideliners place that used to be 15 other sports bars before it. Good size, and good flavor. It is FAR better than what Jefferson's ever made.

I sure hope Stand Up Chuck has entertained the idea of a few hundred sell out shows there.

So which one is this an offshoot of? Bandito Southside is not the same as the Bandito on Governor's, and neither are the same as what used to be the one in downtown Madison.

Bandito Governors is the original, been around 25 years. The new one on 72 is this same owner. Madison one was not the same owner. The Bandito Southside location changed its name to Southside Cantina, and was not the same owner as the Governors location.

I remember I had an argument with someone once, they were saying Governors was built to be a Bandito. Even though it is clearly a Church's Chicken.

I was conversational about it, but they ardently disagreed. Even though I politely explained the shape of the building and sign and even the older booths were clearly not designed with "mexican" themes.

She was the cashier at the Governors location.

I enjoyed the Madison location for many years, but it was off some of the time, stopped going a few years ago, looking forward to the new location in Madison!
