We live on the east side, too, because we like hills and trees. I drop the kids at school on the way to work each morning by 7:45 and arrive downtown by 8:10. CRP would be maybe 10 minutes more. Coming home, sometimes it backs up over Chapman Mountain but once you learn the way to cut through Chase Road beside Alabama A&M, it's pretty easy to avoid.

After living/commuting in Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando and Austin, living/commuting in Huntsville and Madison is easy duty...
