Finally saw some work being done inside the Mellow Mushroom space this week.
Maybe we'll have a restaurant there in a couple months.

I wonder if they'll be swamped with business or if it'll be our little secret?

I doubt it. We were at Cheeburger today and Providence seemed pretty packed.

Huntsvillians love new restaurants. . .I probably won't even attempt to go until they've been open for a few months

Was in Nashville today, tried the Mellow Mushroom. Pretty good, for me almost as good as Tortora's, but will be half way to Neverneverland for me.

Will the Mellow Mushroom location in Providence be the only location in the Huntsville area?

Yep, for now. Birmingham, as large as it is, only has one. But, if it does well, you never know. There are 4 in the Mobile "area"....Mobile (2), Foley, Daphne and two in Montgomery area (Montgomery, Prattville).
My question is...how in the world did Oxford and Enterprise get one before we did? Can that be seen as a reflection on how hard the past city government worked to bring new and desirable commercial businesses into our area?

I assumed they were franchises, and that would require an investor to
a) know about the opportunity
b) have the money to spend
c) be approved by MM to do business in the area.
