Default Where to live close to Northrop Grumman?......

that would be close to good small public schools, or private school, shopping, churches and with a house that has a nice size lot or country feel to it?

Which Northrop? Research Park? Behind the Airport near Triana? TASC on Memorial Pkwy? For the first 2, I would recommend Madison.

Default This area, Wynn Drive..

where the Missions Systems is located. I hear that this company will be building more defense related plants/areas in Huntsville in the future.

That is a good spot, because it is easily accessible from pretty much anywhere in Madison County. For public schools the Sparkman school district in Harvest and Monrovia might be a good option for you. Good schools, it does have a little more rural feel than Hsv and Madison. Easy commute to Research Park as well. NE Hsv / Madison County might be an option as well, but I have heard the drive into Hsv in the mornings can get backed up.

If you are looking into private schools, then you can pretty much look about anywhere. East Limestone can give you pretty much all of that and Madison Academy would be right about on your way to work.
