Default Have any of the McMullen Cove homes sold?

I am hearing that none of these houses have sold and that the sales/administrative folks are being let go. Anybody know if this is truth or fiction?

Also, the new development at Publix Winchester Rd. is rumored to be an Applebee's.

I have driven through there and it looked like it might be a couple people living in those houses. But I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't selling many considering the overbuilding of the housing market in Huntsville, the fact that hardly any BRAC people have actually started moving here so far, and the prices, the neighborhood will have more than 3000 houses ranging from 400K to well above 1 million. Are there really that many people at this point in Huntsville that really will buy houses that pricey. The neighborhood isn't even in a convenient location, its zoned for Huntsville City/Hampton Cove schools but its really closer to Gurley/72 side. It is a location with a lot beautiful scenery though.

And wooohoo for Applebees on Winchester if it's true... I'm getting impatient with Harris Hills I'd like to see another eating place on the NE side beside OBYRANS.

Well in response to your smart remark if you are familiar with Northeast Huntsville/Madison County there's probably 35-40K people that live in this portion of town and there was almost absolutely no retail until recently and there aren't any eating places besides fast food either so yes I'm glad to see any improvement thats prevents me from driving 15-20 to find an eating place. The Harris Hill project should have a plethora of stuff but its not scheduled to even begin construction until sometime this year.
