Need a little direction (Huntsville: military, job, contractor)

So far Huntsville looks legit for a family of 5. I am active duty military retiring Halloween night. I am looking for an IT job in Huntsville or Atl; by retirement, I will have a MS in basically Mgt of IT. Can someone PM me with some company recommendations? Thanks in advance!

jbub22 - just about every major defense contractor is in HSV. And all of them are hiring. Boeing, Northrup-Grumman, LockMart, SAIC... Plus many smaller contractors like Camber and Dynetics... You should be able to take your pick

I definitely recommend attending the high tech/security clearance job fair at the Von Braun Center. They run one every few months, but they JUST had one, so the next one probably isn't for a while.

Heck, next time I see one advertised I will post it here, since we get this question a lot and in our experience the local HSV job fair was an excellent place for a non-local to network. Much better than job fairs in bigger cities, since there seemed to be a lot more local engineers/managers represented at the booths, rather than just HR faces.
