Yet, how this is relevant to you calling them all environmentalists "nutjobs" or ADEM being a lackadaisical agency? Having a working interactions with others provides nuance rather than generalization and assumptions. An complaint that is raised should be looked into rather than brushed off because it is "blocking progress" when it comes to environmental conditions.

Bottom line is the site is termed a TVA Megasite ... all the preliminary environtmental impact work should have already been done, unless there's something site-specific, and Toyota/Mazda will have to take care of such statements. All the suits do is try and delay things quite possibly for no reason.

And yes, of course there's such a thing as frivolous law suits, or at least attempts to sue. They may be thrown out before they ever actually make it, but frivolous things are filed every day.

I ask again, and I'm sure you know: Were the other auto sites in the state (Vance, Talledega, and south of Montgomery) held up by environmental suits? The plants will all be similar, and should have the same environmental issues, if there are any.

I am not going to even entertain your nonsense. Please refer to the State Code I suggested we need earlier in post #17 that I called "45.64.201...whatever"

Jero should post to local matters in ATL. You guys are trying to reason with an environmentalist and we all know it’s going to end in a stalemate. Build the plant!

I'm not going to entertain your response because the rest of that response is utter non-sense. The Alabama State Constitution needs to be rewritten not have another redundant and stupid local amendment added to just because someone thinks environmental advocates are whining. If ADEM did its job then most of these environmental groups would not be needed.

I could care less about Atlanta ultimately. I'm a native Alabamian and I work in the state time to time, so anything that goes on in this state it does concerns me. Also, being practical means addressing the concerns while coming to a practical agreement for both sides. It occurs all the time.
