Huntsville City Schools is under a decades-old desegregation order filed by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People; if one is "brown" or "yellow" or "Arab", "Hindu", "Pakistani" or other minority then file your own lawsuit because you're the 'wrong' color. Yes, majority school is "white" (note that Hispanics count as "white" for the purposes of the lawsuit). The City Schools did try to count Hispanics as a minority but were rebuffed in court. If one is black and zoned for a majority minority school then one can transfer and be bussed to a majority majority school.

I don't know the legal standard for 'black' and I don't know if one can identify as 'black', like Rachel Dolezal or Shaun King (Talcum X).
